Description:

The Family Caregiver Support Program provides support services to help informal caregivers of:
-an adult 60 years or older
-a person with Alzheimer's disease or related disorder (regardless of age)
-a relative 18 years or younger, if you are 55 years or older
-an adult child aged 19-59, with a disability

While caring for family members can be rewarding, it often takes a physical, emotional and financial toll on the family. Caregivers who do not have access to a support system may experience burnout, leading to increased stress and other problems. The Family Caregiver Support Program helps address these caregiver challenges through:

-Support Groups
-Information, Referral and Assistance
-Respite
-Care Coordination
-Education and Training

Services are available at no cost. Voluntary contributions are accepted. No eligible caregiver will be denied services because of an inability to contribute.
