Description:

The Humane Society of Tuolumne County (HSOTC) is dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in our community and finding permanent and loving adoptive homes for the cats and dogs in our care.

Animal visiting hours are Tuesday - Thursday from 10:30am - 12:30pm
Visiting on Friday and Saturday are by appointment only.

Programs and Services include:
Sheltering and adopting animals
Intake of owner-relinquished pets
Providing adult and youth education programs

Spay/Neuter programs - any kitten or puppy adopted from the shelter will be provided a voucher for spay/neuter services from participating Tuolumne and Calaveras county veterinary offices. A low-income voucher program is aimed to assist those most in need, call or go to the website to apply. For cats only there is a spay and neuter assistance program to end overpopulation (Must submit applciation and proof of household income).

Crematory Services - Paid for service, provides the most thoughtful and comprehensive cremation services available with both private and communal cremations. Please call for pricing.

Volunteers opportunities are available and donations are always welcome.
