Mariposa Safe Families empowers individuals, families and children to enhance their lives and overall wellbeing while discovering their own strengths and giving hope through relationships and authentic caring.

Family Enrichment Center includes:
Information Center - local resource contact information
Free Computer Lab - with WIFI, printing capabilities, resume building.
Workshops are available at various times of the year - nutrition, computer, tax prep, parenting classes.
Trainings - Mandated Reporter, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Parent Partner Training, Community Partner Training, Free Tax Preparation Guide, CPR/First Aid
Lending Library - free reading material, books, and learning activities for children.

Child Abuse Prevention Coalition includes:
Father Engagement Program ("All Dads Rock") - This program identifies and helps fathers reengage in their children's lives, helps build father-child relationships, establishes healthy safe relationships with fathers to improve father-child relationships because "Dads Rock!"

Monthly Family Engagement Activities - MSF offers a variety of fun, safe and interactive monthly activities for families to engage in. It is during said activities where healthy living skills and information is relayed and resource information is provided to families.

Community Partner Program - A mentoring program designed to support individuals and families living in poverty within Mariposa County for the purpose of navigating and accessing needed resources for those individuals and families to move out of poverty and into prosperity.

Mothers Empowering Mothers Support Group - 3rd Thursday of every month for coffee, conversation, fun, and understanding that no matter where you are at in your motherhood journey, we aren't meant to walk it alone. Childcare is available upon request. Located at Tunnel View Coffee Co. from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Substance Abuse Prevention includes:
Friday Night Live/Club Live - The primary focus of both programs is to form youth/adult partnerships with young people, providing programs rich in opportunities and support, so young people will be less likely to engage in problem behaviors, more likely to achieve in school, and more likely to attend higher education or secure a full-time job.

"After School Matters" and after school program for 5th-12th graders - The "After School Matters" Program is facilitated and organized by Mariposa Safe Families and is held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30PM to 5:30PM! The ASM Program is held in person and via zoom for those youth not actively in school.

Youth Advisory Group - The Youth Advisory Group is comprised of local youth wishing to make a positive difference in the world. The Youth Advisory Group organizes youth-led campaigns to bring awareness to the community on the dangers of substance use.

Mariposa Safe Families is a safe, judgement free, substance free place for all.
