Description:
The Refuge Recovery Center is a non-profit, residential drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation center located in Sonora and opening in the Spring of 2021. They also provide a few supplemental food programs to those in need within Tuolumne County.
The detox and rehabilitation center is open to 18+.
The first food program is a monthly food program for adults 60+ and in need. If approved they are notified of a date and time to pick up their food monthly. If the person does not have transportation, they can deliver the food within a five mile radius of The Refuge Recovery Center.
The second food program serves those in need but is available to 18+ on Wednesday's from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. You will need to call 24 hours in advance so that they can have the food items ready for you. Please call during business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
