Habitat For Humanity seeks to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Homeownership Program: Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County is committed to guiding homebuyers to become stable, self-reliant, and successful homeowners. They accomplish this by thoroughly vetting applicants; and by providing education classes and continuous support during the application, loan, and building processes.
The homeownership program, completed through a layered mortgage system is, designed for low-income, first-time homebuyers* who meet three basic criteria of need, ability to pay a mortgage, and willingness to partner.
*First-Time Homebuyers are defined as not having owned a home within the past three years

Home Repair Program: zero down, zero interest loan program that enables members of our community to complete necessary repairs to their homes through Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County. Loan repayment is based off of homeowner's income to ensure a successful and affordable payment schedule.
Repairs include Home Preservation (patching, minor repairs, and exterior material replacement), Critical Home Repair (ADA repairs, extesive interior/exterior repairs to address health and safety issues and/or code violation), and Weatherization (to manage energy efficiency in the home from windows, doors, siding, weather stripping, and gutters).
Applications are available from the Administrative Office or to download at habitattuolumne.org.

Volunteering: Volunteers are welcomed on the construction site (16+), assisting with repairs, at the ReStore, during events, and in the Administrative Office

The ReStore is a non-profit home improvement thrift store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more to the public at a fraction of retail price.
Every Habitat ReStore is unique, and inventory changes daily.
