Adult Protective Services (APS) - functions to serve all dependent and elder adults with a protective need in Tuolumne County.
CalFresh - Applications for assistance with food purchases.
CalLearn - encourage CalWorks recipients to pursue or continue education as the first steps to self sufficiency.
CalWORKs - Cash benefits to eligible families. Eligibility requirements are set by State and Federal Gov.
Child Welfare Services
County Medical Services Program - provide affordable health care to low-income adults at no or limited cost.
Foster Home Licensing - The Resource Family Approval (RFA) Program is a family-friendly and child-centered caregiver approval process that combines and replaces elements of the old foster parent licensing, relative approval, and approvals for adoption and guardianship processes
Independent Living Program - provides services designed to assist eligible youth to successfully make the transition from foster care to independent living.
In-Home Support Services (IHSS) - provides assistance to eligible individuals who are aged, blind, and/or disabled, and who would be unable to remain safely in their own homes without assistance.
Medi-Cal - Health related services for those who qualify.
Public Guardian - Act as conservator for individual person and estate, pay individual bills on an on-going basis, make decisions about health care and other care needs.
Welfare to Work - Employment and training to assist Cal Works recipients with employment, training and job search services. Supportive services are provided through the program which could include child care and transportation.
