Mariposa County Housing Services and Support

Description:

Housing Services and Support seeks to identify and assist those individuals and families residing within the county currently or in imminent danger of becoming homeless to provide housing opportunities and support services for such persons. Serving those residing in both unsheltered as well as substandard sheltered living environments. They also assist in sustaining long-term housing placement through linkage and referral to various available support services, including individual case management.

Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) - a federally funded program that helps low-income households pay their energy bill.
Weatherization - Free weatherization services are available to low-income property owners and renters. Eligibility is based on the household's total income.
Water Assistance (LIHWAP) - provides financial assistance to low-income households to help manage their residential water and wastewater utility costs.

Landlord Partnership Program - provides financial and support incentives to landlords who rent to families who receive federal rental assistance through Housing Choice Vouchers and other housing-related programs administered by Mariposa County and Health and Human Services
