Description:

Local Senior Center providing senior nutrition meals, congregate dining, public and medical transportation, activity center, and more.

The "alternate" line is the Nutrition Reservation Line.

Services offered:
-Activities and programs

-Furnishes meeting areas by arrangement
-Outreach to senior citizens
-Senior services information and referrals
-Senior nutrition congregate meals
-Senior nutrition home-delivered meals

Each meal provides one-third of the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) served daily to senior citizens, 60 years of age and over, and their spouse of any age.
Congregate meals are served Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), at 12pm at the Mariposa Senior Center
Suggested meal contribution: $4 for Seniors and $6 for Guests and Non-Seniors

Monthly Veterans Breakfast on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 8:30-9:30am. All Veterans and posuses of any age eat for free, call to make a reservation.

DISCLAIMER: No eligible individuals shall be denied participation due to the inability to contribute.

Technology classes are offered at the Senior Center, Apple products only and the individual must already have a device.

Access Technology: A grant funded program offered to Mariposa county for the distribution of digital devices, services plans and training for Medi-Cal criteria based individuals that are deemed disabled dependent adults 18 - 59 years of age or are 60 years of age or older to increase/improve the digital divide in their communities and reduce isolation, increase connections and enhance self-confidence for program participants. Mariposa Senior Firewood Program (seasonal): Individuals must be 60+ and low income, use firewood to heat their homes and have a truck or small trailer. Indidivudals who do not have a truck or trailer or are otherwise unable to pick firewood and may desginate another person to pick up firewood. Distribution is in late October of 2023, new applications can be filled out at the Mariposa Senior Center. Call for more information, 209-966-6632.
