Description:
Our Home-Delivered Meals: Meals On Wheels program helps vulnerable older adults maintain a healthy lifestyle and remain living independently by providing nutritious meals, safety checks, and friendly social interaction. There is a suggested contribution of $8 per meal, but no senior will be denied a meal because of their inability to contribute.
About the meals:
Five frozen meals are delivered once a week between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Fresh milk and bread are delivered every other week.
Each individually packaged meal exceeds one-third of the recommended dietary allowance for older adults.
